Maintenance Activities
- Software Updates: Updating CMS, plugins, and themes to ensure security and compatibility.
- Security Monitoring: Scanning for malware, viruses, and other security threats.
- Backup and Recovery: Creating backups.
- Performance Optimization: Ensuring website speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Error Monitoring and Fixing: Identifying and resolving technical issues, such as broken links or 404 errors.
- Minor Content Updates: Updating text, images, and other media on existing pages. A change will not be considered minor if it takes more than 30 minutes to implement or if it significantly alters the appearance of a page. Major revisions and updates constitute new projects and will be charged for at an hourly rate.
- Plugin and Module Configuration: Configuring and troubleshooting third-party plugins and modules.
- Theme Updates and Customization: Updating and customizing website themes to ensure compatibility and consistency.
- Mobile and Tablet Responsiveness Testing: Ensuring website responsiveness and usability on mobile devices.
- Technical Support: Responding to technical inquiries and resolving issues via phone, email, or chat.
- Website Uptime Monitoring: Monitoring website uptime and responding to downtime incidents.
- DNS Management: Managing DNS settings and ensuring proper configuration.
- (Value add) Strategy and Consulting: Providing strategic guidance and e-commerce consulting services.
Common Exclusions
- E-commerce Management: Managing online stores, including product uploads, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Content Creation: Creating new content, such as blog posts, articles, or social media posts.
- User Management: Managing user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
- Course Management: Creating, updating, and managing online courses.
- Product Uploads: Uploading and managing products on e-commerce websites.
- Social Media Management: Managing social media presence, including content creation and engagement.
- Email Marketing: Creating and sending email campaigns.
- Custom Development: Creating custom functionality, features, or integrations.
- Design Services: Providing design services, such as logo creation, branding, or visual design.
- Website Redesign: Redesigning or rebuilding an existing website.
- Third-Party Integrations: Integrating third-party services, such as payment gateways or APIs.
- Advanced SEO Services: Providing advanced SEO services, such as link building or technical SEO audits.
