Maintenance Activities

  1. Software Updates: Updating CMS, plugins, and themes to ensure security and compatibility.
  2. Security Monitoring: Scanning for malware, viruses, and other security threats.
  3. Backup and Recovery: Creating backups.
  4. Performance Optimization: Ensuring website speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  5. Error Monitoring and Fixing: Identifying and resolving technical issues, such as broken links or 404 errors.
  6. Minor Content Updates: Updating text, images, and other media on existing pages. A change will not be considered minor if it takes more than 30 minutes to implement or if it significantly alters the appearance of a page. Major revisions and updates constitute new projects and will be charged for at an hourly rate.
  7. Plugin and Module Configuration: Configuring and troubleshooting third-party plugins and modules.
  8. Theme Updates and Customization: Updating and customizing website themes to ensure compatibility and consistency.
  9. Mobile and Tablet Responsiveness Testing: Ensuring website responsiveness and usability on mobile devices.
  10. Technical Support: Responding to technical inquiries and resolving issues via phone, email, or chat.
  11. Website Uptime Monitoring: Monitoring website uptime and responding to downtime incidents.
  12. DNS Management: Managing DNS settings and ensuring proper configuration.
  13. (Value add) Strategy and Consulting: Providing strategic guidance and e-commerce consulting services.

 

Common Exclusions

  1. E-commerce Management: Managing online stores, including product uploads, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  2. Content Creation: Creating new content, such as blog posts, articles, or social media posts.
  3. User Management: Managing user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
  4. Course Management: Creating, updating, and managing online courses.
  5. Product Uploads: Uploading and managing products on e-commerce websites.
  6. Social Media Management: Managing social media presence, including content creation and engagement.
  7. Email Marketing: Creating and sending email campaigns.
  8. Custom Development: Creating custom functionality, features, or integrations.
  9. Design Services: Providing design services, such as logo creation, branding, or visual design.
  10. Website Redesign: Redesigning or rebuilding an existing website.
